Monte Carlo

Monte Carlo was super rad! Great music, gambling, dancing, and open bar, what more could you ask for?! Not to mention the venue "Out of Asia" is a pretty unique place. I really enjoyed taking pictures this night, the crowd was energetic and playful. It's also nice to see some familiar faces!

Enjoy the photos!

DANCEISM!

For those of you who went to Hard Summer 09' I'm more than positive that you were more than let down, as was I. However there is a remedy to quench your thirst for the music, bass, and all night fist pumping action you were robbed of... this would be DANCEISM. If you have already attended DANCEISM in the past, I know that by just saying the name has already made your jump out of your chair to go grab your glow sticks, and change into your colorful skinny jeans! For the people who have never been, GO.

DANCEISM is one of the most enjoyable, and unforgettable events that I have personally attended. The music is great, the lights spectacular, not to mention this team has every angle locked down from security, to its venue, and even a surplus of photographers (in other words, the organizational skills this team has, is what Hard lacked). I feel that the DANCEISM team truly cared about its party-goers.

Amazing artists, dancing, body painting, photo booths, chalk walls, and even multiple art installations are what DANCEISM offers, the only thing it doesn't offer is frowns, and riot police escorting you out.

Mark your calender for DANCEISM on September 4Th, I promise you will not be disappointed. Be the one who is able to say "yeah, I was there."

If your still on the fence, check out the pictures I took at DANCEISM in the past, click on the "DANCEISM" section on the right hand side of this page a few events down.

Check out www.danceism.com for tickets and more information.

See you all there!!!!!!!!!!

The Grad Party

Last night was nothing short of EPIC! With sets by DJ Ember, DJ Bones, and CLASIXX how could it not be? The Warehouse was raging and at capacity early on in the night. If you did not get there before 11:30 you had to suffer a 30 minute wait outside. The dance floor was packed, the drinks were flowing and everyone was having an amazing time. This is exactly what the class of 09' needed, one last raging party with the closest of friends. Shout out to the boys who made this possible Danny, Paul, Stephen, and Kevin-- without them, it would have been just another typical saturday night in LA.

Ryan C. Mouritsen

I want to sincerely thank the Mouritsen family for allowing me to attend such a personal family situation. I just want to say as I have said to others, that just from walking ad-mist the crowd of family and friends listening to stories passed from one to another from afternoon to sunset that I have no doubt in knowing the kind of person Ryan was. It's obvious that Ryan has touched every person their in a unique way. The joy and energy that Ryan was able to spread is undoubtedly unbelievable, although he is sadly no longer here on this earth, Ryan is absolutely still lives in each and everyones hearts for the rest of their lives. It is simply amazing to see the smiles that one man could create.

I wish only the best to the Mouritsen's, and Ryan's friends.

DANCEISM

What can I say? DANCEISM was simply amazing...... I was extremely impressed with how it was all setup, there was NEVER a dull moment. From face painting to dancing, and tissue acrobatics to writing chalk all over the walls, DANCEISM had something for everyone. The atmosphere was simply euphoric and energetic, and at capacity early in the night, I can say that out of the two-thousand people attending, not had less than a smile on there face walking out the door in the end.

If you missed this event, you truly missed out on something great, and there are photos to prove it.

I just want to say congrats to the people who put this together, and who made February 27th 2009 a night to remember for everyone.

USC Dance Marathon

Pretty stoked to announce that a few of my pictures made it onto the LA Times for the USC Dance Marathon, raising money for the Children's Miracle Network. Hundreds of USC students participated which started at 7 P.M and danced the entire night away until 9 A.M the next morning. A similar dance was also going on this night at UCLA. To see the LA Times article, click here

It was a really cool event, even Carrie Ann Inaba (Dancing with the Stars) made an appearance to offer support to all of the dancers. I think its awesome that students can come together and work towards a great cause.

Props to everyone who participated!
